Staff at Leo Pharmaceuticals survived soaring temperatures in the London to Brighton bike ride to raise more than £4,000 for the British Heart Foundation.
Fourteen employees from the Princes Risborough company joined 27,000 other enthusiasts for the 58-mile ride, setting off from Clapham in London at 9.30am in temperatures already climbing to the mid-80s.
Barry Miles was the first Leo team member to reach the finishing line after 6.5 hours.
Team captain Bob Neighbour said: "This has been an immense achievement for us all. We have trained very hard, but with the added heat I was very worried about completing the course.
"I am pleased to say that all the team reached the finish line, very tired, but otherwise fit."
Tony Wilson, managing director at Leo Pharmaceuticals, said he was proud of the Leo team members who took part.
He added: "As a company we have always been committed to helping the local community and national charities.
"On this occasion it was achieved through the goodwill of individuals rather than purely corporate sponsorship."
