If drivers passing through on a regular basis can not see a reason for slowing down from the national speed limit then the matrix signs will just be ignored. Sorry everyone but speed cameras would be more effective.

If drivers learnt to concentrate on driving and not slow down to "Rubber neck" at incidents then there would be no need to put speed restrictions in place. Cameras are not the answer, driver training is what is needed.

It is a difficult situation though because those who "rubberneck" could use the excuse that they are slowing down because it would also be classed as irresponsible not to slow down when there are people on the hard shoulder, police cars with lights flashing warning of danger and possible debris on the road. I agree that it is very frustrating when traffic slows to a virtual stand still just because someone has broken down or someone is having a wee on the grass verge.

Speed Cameras are absolutly not the answer, it has been proven that they do not improve safetry and they are merely there as a revenue generator, anyone that thinks otherwise is a dullard,

I resent being called Stupid CHWY. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and just because we do not agree does not give the right to be abusive.
