ONE lane of the West Wycombe Road was closed today after a car smash.
The collision, which is believed to have taken place between 3.30pm and 4pm, involved a Landrover Defender, and a smaller red car, of unconfirmed make.
Police and paramedics attended the scene, near to the traffic light controlled junction with Plomer Hill.
Marc Lister, spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: "There was one male in the 4x4 who was fine. In the smaller car there was a male and female in their mid-to-late 40s.
"The male sustained minor head injuries that were treated and dressed on the scene, and the female had a minor leg injury, also treated at the scene."
He added that no one involved had to be taken to hospital.

Junctions controlled by traffic lightsOK so if it had a filter light the above applies. It definitely does not have its own set of lights !!! maybe you should stop personally attacking people.
Green filter arrow. This indicates a filter lane only. Do not enter that lane unless you want to go in the direction of the arrow. You may proceed in the direction of the green arrow when it, or the full green light shows. Give other traffic, especially cyclists, time and room to move into the correct lane

An accident so minor that no one went to hospital is not news. All the the comments about jumping lights are based on pure supposition and my be irrelevant to this case.

kazza wrote:I beg to differ, kazza. On the 3 occassions I drove towards West Wycombe today there was definitely a filter lane going to Downley at Plomer Hill (in addition to the one going to Downley at The Pastures). Straight on and turn right are controlled separately with arrows - Juggleybear, please note - you only go if the green arrow points in the direction you want to travel.
It is not a filter lane at Plomer green junction - it is farther down the road for Downley Hill where you go under the bridge.

They are not controlled by arrows at Plomer Green junction. I drive this way every day just a green light.
