THERE was a dramatic fly-past over High Wycombe as this Vulcan aircraft took to the skies above the RAF base in Naphill.
The plane, which came down from the Midlands, made the flight Thursday lunch time to celebrate the building of the new Vulcan block at the base.
It has been restored at a cost of £7 million.
Residents turned out to view the plane, from the RAF's V bomber force which acted as part of the nuclear deterrent against the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
