AMERSHAM Hospital is to host an open day today to make people more aware of strokes.

The open day will give advice on how to prevent the condition and show the work that helps patients recover.

The physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics and speech and language therapy branches of the Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust will be providing displays.

This will include working practice and equipment, as well as some of the exciting innovations resulting from recent research.

The Open Day is in the Therapies Department at Amersham Hospital from 10am until 4pm.
