No-one can keep up with Jones
OWAIN Jones won the Marlow Five for the second year in succession.
The defending champion, from the Chiltern Sparrows club, took the crown again finishing nine seconds clear of James Sumptor.
The pair led 1,599 finishers around the course.
Graham Robinson, from Sandhurst, was third.
Former European cross country star Hayley Yelling won the ladies' race at a canter.
The Marlow maths teacher ripped up the track, winning with more than three minutes to spare from Headington Road Runner Dianne Moore.
The juniors race was also competitive with Wycombe Phoenix Harriers enjoying a winning double.
William Langley took top-billing with a very competitive time of 27minutes and 32 seconds to take the title from his Harriers clubmate Mark Booth who clocked 30.11.
And Harriers' domination continued with Lucy Rogers winning the junior womens' race, coming home in 37 minutes and six seconds, almost three minutes ahead of Victoria Eustace and more than 11 minutes clear of third placed Penny Todd.
